Fall arrives in the mountains

View from Cool Springs Overlook within Fort Mountain State Park, Georgia, USA. Fall colors and early morning light in a mountain valley make this view of the Georgia Mountains a feast for the eyes.

Lydia, visiting Cades Cove

Lydia is standing on the right side of the road enjoying the natural beauty of Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National, Park, Tennessee, USA. The lack of many cars on the road passing her is unusual during leaf peeping season. Hundreds and maybe even thousands of cars travel this one lane road everyday at this time of year. Ocelot Looking for Food

While in Brazil we had the opportunity to spend some time photographing an Ocelot that would come to a blind for food. It was very dark and the light from a flashlight was used to provide sufficient light to focus the camera and capture the image.
