Blue-footed Booby Feeding Young

On a visit to the island of Floreana in the Galapagos Islands I managed to capture this image of a Blue-footed Bobby feeding its young. The adult is not moving much but you can see the wings beating on the young as it gets its meal.Blue-footed Booby Feeding Young

Soft and Hard

The Beauty of Desolation

Lava flow on the Island of Santiago, Galapagus, Ecuador. We walked this field of lava while visiting Santiago and were impressed by its vastness and lack of vegetation. Someday this may be a rich fertile area, but not in my lifetime. This is a color image and has not been manipulated to appear as a black and white image.Black volcanic flow on a cloudy day
