Napping on High (Marmoset)

This youngster was sleeping on its mother’s back as she traveled through the trees and across buildings. Image captured while visiting the Gardens of the Amazon where we saw a small troop of Silvery Marmosets visiting the trees near the building where we ate our meals.

Ocelot Looking for Food

While in Brazil we had the opportunity to spend some time photographing an Ocelot that would come to a blind for food. It was very dark and the light from a flashlight was used to provide sufficient light to focus the camera and capture the image.

Hunting While Hunted

An Anole leads a life that consists of two polar opposites. To survive it must hunt for food, but while it is hunting there are many predators hunting it. Its coloring helps the Anole blend into it environment affording some protection.

Who are you?

I was hiking the road at Lake Louisa State Park, Florida, when this Raccoon came out of the woods and onto the road.  He stopped and stared at me for a minute or two and appeared to be wondering what I was doing there.
