It appears to be dragonfly weather and the Halloween Pennants have been very active. Who could resist an opportunity to capture a closeup of one when it is sparkling in the sun?

Watched this wasp feeding on the Goldenrod blossoms at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, Florida, in the early evening. The wings would sparkle with blue when they caught the sunlight. Sorry I was unable to capture the blue so you could see it.

It isn’t often that you see mammals in the wild, but on an early morning walk at Faver-Dykes State Park, in Florida, this Opossum and I did cross paths. He was crossing the road and picked up speed once he spotted me with a camera pointed in his direction.

While on a late morning walk at Lake Louisa State park the butterflies were becoming active and I managed to capture this image of a Zebra Longwing or Zebra Heliconian feeding.
